He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Boothby and Alice Boothby; and his siblings, Carroll Boothby, Darrel Boothby, Mary Jo Hall, Roger Boothby and Kathy Hile.
He is survived by: his wife Donna L. Boothby; his children, Deborah Doyle (Dave) of Williamsburg, Allen Boothby (Kelly) of Spotsylvania, Virginia, Dodie Benjamin of Hamersville and Herbert Boothby of Mt. Orab, Ohio; his grandchildren, Allison, Anna, Darren, Gabrielle, Sophia, McKenna and Molly; and his great grandchildren, Jayne, Christian, Elijah, Jensen, Addysen, Leah and Logan. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Williamsburg United Methodist Church (330 Gay St, Williamsburg, OH 45176). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Williamsburg United Methodist Church.
