He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Utter, Jr. and Helen Klingonsmith; his sister Bonnie Backus; and his aunt Norma Lee Ward. He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Naegel (Brett) of Williamsburg, Laura Hanselman (Randy) of Georgetown and Adam Utter (Salena) of Williamsburg, Ohio; his grandchildren, Elaina Naegel, Ellie, Rylee Hanselman, Greysen and Declan Utter; his siblings, Mark Utter (Tammy) of St. George, Utah and Joyce Magnum of Las Vegas, Nevada; his cousin Kathy Sammons; and his close friend Bonnie Vance of Milford. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 27th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Williamsburg American Legion Post #228 (208 E Main St, Williamsburg, OH 45176). The military honors will be held on Saturday, June 27th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
