He was predeceased by: his father Donald Gardner; his brother Gary; his grandson Aaron Gardner; Deborah Knapp and Jenny Gardner (Carter).
He is survived by: his mother Ruth Gardner (Kingman); his children, Corey Gardner (Rebecca) of Risingsun and Valerie Austin (Ryan) of Temperance, Michigan.; his grandchildren, Brandon, Ashley Gardner, Xavier, Aria Austin and Bentley Gardner; and his sisters, Becky Grant (Steve) of Findlay and Patti Kolozy (Bob) of Findlay.
