He was predeceased by: his parents, Eduardo and Thelma; his grandmother Remedios Velasco Shea; his sister Marilou Guy; and his brother-in-law Brian Dehm.

He is survived by: his sisters, Veronica Papio (Mike), Editha Dehm, Bernadette Beal (Andrew) and Kathleen Le (Ton); his brother-in-law Kirk Guy; and his nieces and nephews, Charles Guy (Alley), Robert Guy (Annie), Alex Guy, Joseph Papio, Anthony Papio (Jillian), Angelina Cerone (Matt), Daniel Papio (Molly), Giovanni Papio, Dustin Dehm, Jason Dehm, Zachary Dehm (Joshua), Anya Miller (Robert), Margaux Guy, Kaitlyn Le, Lily Le and Thomas Le. He is also survived by great-nieces and nephews.
