She was predeceased by: her son John Matthew Tomkalski; her parents, Matthew M. and Anna M.; and her siblings, Harriette Konopka (late Richard) and George W. Kunecki.
She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" R. Tomkalski; her children, Gary Tomkalski and Nicole Pelto; her grandchildren, Kaila and Anthony Joseph "AJ"; and her nibling Cyndi Konopka. She is also survived by three brothers.
