He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Barr and Carmella Barr; his siblings, Colonel James Barr (Mattie) and Marie Mehall (late Frank); his son Douglas George Barr; and his sons-in-law, Joel Negrelli and Robert Boggess.
He is survived by: his significant other Jane; and his brother John Barr (Vicki). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and the newest addition, a great great granddaughter.
