He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joan Avsec; his children, Veronica Avsec, Mark Avsec (Colleen), Brian Avsec (Debora) and Kim Carter (Robert); and his sisters, Veronica Pestotnik (Albert) and Carol Ann Janc (late Paul).
