It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Jeanne BROOKS Hare (Willoughby, Ohio), born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on February 5, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Virgil R. Hare; and her parents, Charles Brooks and Catherine Brooks. She is survived by: her stepdaughters, Penny Miller, Debbie Platt (Ray) and Denise Hare (Heidi Waldinger); her siblings, Catherine Bonick (late Robert), Charles Brooks (Delores), Lynn Cozart (Richard) and David Brooks (Karen); and her friends, Marcia Hathaway, Jake and Cindy Snow. She is also survived by five grandsons: six great-grandchildren: many nephews & nieces.
In lieu of flowers, Carol requested donations be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital & the First Baptist Church Pigeon Forge (FBCPF).
