He is survived by: his stepfather Stanton Downs; his wife Lucy (Malycke); his daughters, Dawn Purney (Mark) of Mesa, AZ and Lauren McIntosh (Andrew) of Kyle, TX.; his sister Sara Springer Strongsville (Jack); and his cousins, Pat Patton of Hamilton and Donna Scott of Vero Beach, Florida..
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Brickman Bros. Funeral Home (37433 Euclid Ave, Willoughby, OH 44094).
