He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Retych and Mary Retych; and his grandparents, Anton, Stella Retych, Albert and Mary Kostrab.
He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Bryan (Karen), Kevin (Julie), Danielle (Tom) and Melissa; and his grandchildren, Alexys (Mike), Zach (Alyssa), Miranda, Max and Kaitlyn. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
