He was predeceased by: his parents, John Steinmetz and Helen Steinmetz; and his brother Robert Steinmetz (Ruth). He is survived by: his wife Marjorie R. Steinmetz; and his sibling's children, Robert Steinmetz (Stephanie), Beth Reichanbach and Helen Skjie (Dave).
