It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melissa Hammond (Willoughby, Ohio), born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on November 14, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Patrick; her parents, Robert McGonagle and Marian McGonagle; and her sister Melanie J. McGonagle. She is survived by: her children, Kelly Maxham (Steve), Heather Noonan (Jesse), Meghan Hammond and Erin Hammond; her grandchildren, Jason, Cullen, Taylor, Bridget, Riley, Elissa, Logan, Melanie, Gavin and Madeline; and her great grandchild Illiana.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Panini's (37333 Euclid Ave, Willoughby, OH 44094).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Cleveland APL or the Lake County Humane Society, reflecting Melissa's lifelong devotion to animals.
