He was predeceased by: his parents, Maynard Watts and Irene Watts; his grandson Brandon M. Watts; his siblings, Guy Watts (Barbara), Eleanor Snyder, Donald E. Watts (Nancy) and Carl Watts; and his brother-in-law Buck Nance.
He is survived by: his wife Marcia; his children, Michael Watts (Deborah), Martin Watts and Michelle Dedek (James); his granddaughters, Ashlee Hietanen (Benjamin), Kathryn Podboy (Devin), Danielle Watts and Deanna Kerr (Brandon Watts); his great grandchildren, Marlin Yoder, Oliver, Henry and Grant; his sister Joyce Nance; his sister-in-law Patricia Watts; and his brother Raymond Watts (Marlene). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
