We announce the death of Rita McNeely (Willoughby, Ohio), who passed away on June 22, 2026, at the age of 91. Rita will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bennett and Elizabeth Bennett; and her husband James F. McNeely. She is survived by: her brother Jack Bennett (Barbara); her children, James J. McNeely (Margie Wilks), John M. McNeely, Kathy M. McNeely (Rick Ruggles), Terri M. McNeely (Gary Disbrow), Tom P. McNeely (Kelly Quinn) and Patty A. McNeely (Chris Barker); her grandchildren, Grace Merchlinski (Eric Smith), Maureen Chandran, Marie McNeely (Michael Green), James McNeely (Eunice Nam), Mathew McNeely, Molly Disbrow, Daniel Disbrow and John Barker; her great grandchildren, Lilah, Henry, Kiran, Asher and Paxton; and her nieces and nephews, Peggy Bennett (Mike Keenan), Michael Bennett, Mary Jo Wolf (Bob), Jim Piatak (Debbie), Tom Piatak (Connie), Tim Piatak (Judy Jackson), Mary Kline (Jeff), Mary Ann Medved (Chuck LaQuartra) and Mary Therese Cameron (Duncan). She is also survived by extended family, and countless friends.
