He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Sauer and Beatrice Sauer (Hemke); and his brother Kenneth Sauer. He is survived by: his wife Arlene M. Sauer (Warman); his children, Nancy Nagle (Jim), Linda McLaughlin (Brian), Dan Sauer (Valerie) and Carol Formica (Pete); his grandchildren, Brian Nagle (Gloria), Christopher Nagle (Deena), Adam Nagle (Alyssa), Kyle Nagle (Carla), Brianna Sauer, Alyssa Sauer, Nicholas Formica, Domenic Formica, Mario Formica and Sara Formica; his great grandchildren, Fidelina, Tea, Jimmy and Adrian Nagle; his sister Kay Limbird (Arthur); and his sister-in-law Margie Sauer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
