She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas L. Astorino and Florence A. Astorino; her grandson Anthony Campolieti; and her children, Richard Joseph, Kathleen Judith, James Patrick McCann and Veronica Marie.
She is survived by: her husband Richard S. Smith; her children, Rebecca Campolieti (Michael), Eric Smith (Rita), Mary-Kathryn Lorah (Michael) and Thomas Smith (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Nicholas, Ethan, Sarah, Jack, Max, Sammy and Luca Smith; her sister Joanne Nolan (Gerald); her niece Amanda Nolan; and her great-nephew Carter.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Sandy's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or The Sisters of the Most Holy Trinity.
