As Susan departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Susan may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Susan leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her mother Sylvia Shea. She is survived by: her husband Nicholas; her daughters, Lauren Ruggiero (Philip) and Lia Ruggiero (Orlando); her grandsons, Vincent and Santiago; and her sisters, Katie Thomas (Peter) and Patricia Horvath (Denny). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the St. John Vianney Church (7575 Bellflower Rd, Mentor, OH 44060). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Susie's name may be made to The Lake Humane Society, 7564 Tyler Blvd., Bldg.
