He was predeceased by: his siblings, Bridie, Patrick, Myles, James "Jim", John, Thomas, Michael "Mick", Martin, Eugene, Margaret, Joseph and Evelyn.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Bridget; his children, Elizabeth Gaffney Goddard (Michael) and John Gaffney; his grandchildren, John, Michael and Clare Goddard; and his siblings, Eamon, Brendan and Kathleen.
