He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Shepherd and Vena Miller Shepherd; his wife Thelma Jean Shepherd; and his brothers, Russell and Charlie Shepherd.
He is survived by: his son Randy Shepherd (Kimberly); and his grandson Sheldon. He is also survived by one brother Tuck Shepherd; several nieces and nephews.
