It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mate Kovacevic of Willowick, Ohio, who passed away on April 29, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Nikola, Mile (Branka) and Ivica. He is survived by: his wife Eileen; his children, John, Laura Nalepka (Jeff) and Anna Johnson (Todd); his grandchildren, Briana Nalepka (Christian), Alex Nalepka, Angela Nalepka and Annelise Johnson; and his siblings, Josip (late Maria), Marica, Katica (late Jozo) and Jure (Jagoda).
Visitation was held on Monday, May 4th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Paul Croatian Church (1369 E 40th St, Cleveland, OH 44103). A Mass was held on Monday, May 4th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, May 4th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the All Souls Cemetery (10366 Chardon Rd, Chardon, OH 44024).
