Miles R. Kanning Obituary
The passing of Miles R. Kanning of Willowick, Ohio leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on September 27, 2025 at the age of 88. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Miles leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herb and Velma; and his wife Helga. He is survived by: his brothers, Tom (Judy), Neil and Glenn; and his grandson Grant. He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Shore Haven Lutheran Church (280 E 222nd St, Euclid, OH 44123).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shore Haven Lutheran Church and/or Lutheran East High School, Cleveland Heights, Ohio.
