She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Smith and Opal F. Smith (Garwood); her spouse Vilas Eugene "Gene" Luginbill; and her siblings, Harold V. Smith, Dennis Smith and Maxine Caffee.

She is survived by: her children, Jane M. Miller (Phillip) of Mendon, Ohio, Deanna F. Lugabihl (Joseph Fahncke) of Willshire, Ohio, Roger E. Luginbill (Elizabeth) of Rockford, Ohio and Michelle R. Smith (Mark) of Willshire, Ohio; and her grandchildren, Heather Hart (Travis), Amy Zehringer (Ryan), Paul Lugabihl (Tiffany), Cassandra Stauffer (Thad), Seth Luginbill, Reece Luginbill, Rogan Luginbill, Erica Sill and Cody Sill (Paige). She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren.
