He was predeceased by: his parents, Kalman Lakatos and Edna Lakatos (Giering); his wife Shirley J. Lakatos; his brother Gerald; and his sister-in-law Wilda Lakatos.
He is survived by: his son Carl W.; his daughter-in-law Justine Lakatos; and his granddaughters, Amanda Lakatos and Veronica Lakatos. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sugar Grove Cemetery W Truesdell (297 W Truesdell St, Wilmington, OH 45177).
