She was predeceased by: her father Paul Akers; her husband Timothy Lee Leighly; and her sons, Phillip Lee and Alan Leighly. She is survived by: her mother Joan Akers (Taylor) of Wilmington; her brother Dan Akers (Linda) of Leesburg; her grandson Christopher Leighly; her niece Brittany Akers; her nephew Kyle Akers; her great-niece Slate Akers; and her great-nephews, Noah Worley and Colton Estle.
