He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Rose and Pearl Forte Rose; his wife Elaine Stull Rose; his grandson Timothy Rose; and his siblings, Bertrand, Ocie, Ruthanna, Betty and Paul.

He is survived by: his children, Steven Rose (Cindy), Brenda Dennis (David) and Brian Rose (Becky); his grandchildren, Anthony Rose (Erin), Megan Clouse (Zane), Abigail White (Jason), Courtney Dennis, Andrew Dennis (Rebekah) and Sarah Dennis; and his great grandchildren, Larkin, Layton, Macklin, Evander, Charlie and Evangeline. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Ohio Living Cape May or Wilmington Church of Christ.
