He is survived by: his children, Angela E. Fortune of Elgin, Doris J. Lewis of Lake Alfred, Thomas Newsome and Arizona; his grandchildren, Kenneth Perry, Latoiea White, Jonathan Spratling, Lakesha Lewis, Shantae Lewis, Mariah Newsome, Stephen Spratling, Stephanie Spratling and Keanu Newsome; and his niece Barbara Banks Williams. He is also survived by several great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
