He is survived by : his wife Judith Colvin Simpson; his children, Joseph Simpson (Cheryl) and Sandra Simpson; his grandchildren, Joey Simpson (Ashley), Bethany Līmon (Oscar), Nicole Gipson, Stacy Anderson, Ava Simpson, Damian Simpson, Michelle Cakir (Burak), Melanie Meehan and Meredith Meehan; his son Fred Simpson III; his siblings, Tony Simpson and Marietta Buchanan; his granddaughter Victoria Simpson; and his stepfather Murray Bowman. He is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
