She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Freshour and Beatrice Freshour (Newland); her husband Albert Dick Christian Borreson; her daughter Shirley Crowder; her granddaughter LaTosha Benner; her great grandchild Jordan Benner; and her siblings, Gary, Dean, Virgil, Howard, Richard "Dick", Reynold, James "Jim" Freshour, Helen Conley, Jean Yates and Phyllis Newlan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Connie Hilliard of Hillsboro, Tammy Fisher (David) of Wilmington and Lisa Borreson of Wilmington; her son-in-law Bob Crowder of Jacksonville, FL; and her sisters-in-law, Connie Freshour of Greenfield and Jean Freshour of Greenfield. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
