She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas Edward and Hattie Mae Gheen (Snyder); her husband Charles E. Semler; and her siblings, Arlene, Leona, Mary Kathryn and Thomas.

She is survived by : her son Dr. Charles E. Semler Jr. (Darlene) of Tempe, AZ; and her grandsons, Dr. David Semler (Colleen) of Kalamazoo, MI and Douglas Semler (Jamie) of Leesburg, VA. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
