We announce the death of Joyce L. Peters in Wilmington, Ohio, who passed away on September 9, 2026, at the age of 91. Joyce will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Rittenhouse and LaVerna Rittenhouse; her former husband Arthur Reinsmith; her husband Donald Alan Peters; and her sister Joanne Duncan.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Hagedorn (Donald), Terry Peters (Melinda), William Peters, Todd Peters (Shannon) and Debbie Coldiron (Mike); and her grandchildren, Kristine Gillespie, Kim Cain (Nathan), Karin Kratzer, Mark Peters, Matthew Peters, Rylan Peters (Sherry), Melissa Peters and Galon Coomer (Faith). She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home (97 W Locust St, Wilmington, OH 45177). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Clarksville Cemetery (342 S 1st St, Clarksville, OH 45113).
