She was predeceased by: her mother Marjorie Collins James; her son Ryan Gerhard; her brother Richard James; her stepbrother Timmy Hosack; and her niece Heather James.
She is survived by: her husband Del L. Carroll; her father Raymond Edward James of Russell Springs; her stepmother Barbara James; her daughter Emily Gerhard of Wilmington, Ohio; her stepchildren, Brittany Carroll of Hillsboro and Del Lee Carroll Jr. of Wilmington, Ohio; her sister Sue Huseman of Florence, Kentucky; her stepbrothers, William LeMaster of Kentucky and Phillip Hosack of Kentucky; her grandchildren, Cyress Gerhard, Tearrence Gerhard, Clarity Gerhard, Matthew Smith, McKenzie Smith, Isiah Carroll, Madyson Carroll and Nate Utley; her mother-in-law Ruth Carroll; and her siblings-in-law, Gretchen James, Debbie Dixon (Kenny) and Deeann Miller (Sheridan). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great nephews.
