He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hudson and Anabelle Hudson (Toler); his wife Gertrude Leona Hudson; and his son-in-law Samuel Nevels, Sr.. He is survived by: his sister Mary Hudson of Sardinia; and his stepdaughters, Judith Nevels of Wilmington and Joyce Kittrell (Terry) of Hillsboro. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
