He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Graham Vaughn and Flora Jane Johnson Vaughn; his brother Dale Vaughn; his nephew Doug Vaughn; and his granddaughter Kristina Walt.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Vaughn; his children, Robert Vaughn (Amy), Janet Walt (Jason), Barbara Caldwell (Rob) and Matthew Vaughn (Jennifer); his siblings, Randy Vaughn (Connie), Danny Vaughn (Jill) and Brenda Godlove (Rick); and his sister-in-law Virginia Vaughn.
