She was predeceased by : her parents, John W. Grushon and Mame Grushon; her husband Oscar Hayes; and her children, Robert Lee Hayes and Teresa Huff.

She is survived by : her children, Randy Huff, George Huff, Jr., Charles Hayes, Anthony Hayes, Karen McCoy (Bruce) and Kristy Hamilton (Mark); and her siblings, John Grushon (Charlotte) and Dorothy Ladd (Junior). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and other family members and friends.
