He was predeceased by: his father Russell Shaeffer, Sr.; his son Addam Shaeffer; and his sister Cathy Powell. He is survived by: his mother Wanda Shaeffer (Brewer); his daughter Alyssa Lippincott (Ed) of Wilmington; his siblings, Angie Barr (Roger) of Wilmington, Susan Shaeffer of Arizona and Russell Shaeffer (Wendy) of Dayton; his grandchildren, Michael Mack, Jr. (Joan), Noah Mack (Hallie), Alyk Lippincot, Skyla Edwards, Carson Edwards, Annika Shaeffer, Addalyn Shaeffer and Ava Shaeffer; his great grandchild Eleanor Mack; and his former wife Sandra Locher.
