Grooms; his children, Tim Grooms of Xenia, Michael Grooms of Jamestown, Michelle Hilderbrandt of Wilmington and Terry Smith (Abby) of Liberty Township, Ohio; his brother Charlie Grooms of Morristown, Tennessee; his grandchildren, William Grooms, Samuel Grooms, Lauren Hilderbrandt (Brian Barker), Evan Hilderbrandt (Kristina Decker), Austin Hilderbrandt, Madeline Smith and Jacob Smith; and his great grandchildren, Peyton Hilderbrandt and Owen Hilderbrandt.
