He is survived by: his wife Wilma Shipley; his children, William Shipley Jr. (Brian) of Fayetteville, Ty Shipley (Robin) of Mt. Orab, Melissa Roe (Jim) of Seaman and Carissa Mitchell (Jason) of Williamsburg; his grandchildren, Joshua Ty Shipley (Brandon), Samantha Downing (Carolyn), William Mitchell (Makailee), Amanda Mitchell, Jerusha Barr (Johnny) and Louisa Kim Kacapyr (Andrew); his great grandchildren, Ronan, Kylo, John-Carter, David and Colter-John; and his brother Robert Shipley (Virginia) of Winchester. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
