We announce the death of Dale Cooper of Winchester, Ohio, who passed away on October 28, 2026, at the age of 92. Dale will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Cooper and Edna Lorena Moore Cooper; and his siblings, Gary Cooper, Mary Helen Gast, Betty Clifton and Shelba Newman.
He is survived by: his children, Sam Cooper (Betty) of Decatur, David Cooper (Donna) of Cincinnati and Kathy Daniels of Russellville. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Meeker Funeral Home (308 N Columbus St, Russellville, OH 45168). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 at the Decatur Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Decatur Community Center.
