He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Thomas Harvilak and Veronica Theresa (Solomon); his sisters, Nicolette Ann Harvilak Sciance and Paula Renee Harvilak Pence; his son David Alan Harvilak II (Nancy); and his grandparents, Janos, Anna Harvilak, John and Susan Solomon.
He is survived by: his wife Alyce "Aly" Marie Harvilak (Barcus); his children, Lori Ann (Paul), Sizemore and Kurt Alan (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Kayla Erb, Dakota Sizemore and David Harvilak; his stepson William J. Holmes; his sons, Chad and Garrett; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn and William; his son Bryan K. Holmes (Gigi); and his grandchild Emmry. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
