He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Pool and Wanda Barnhart Pool; his wife Dolores Huggins Pool; and his siblings, Gene and Claudia Rogers.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Zimnox and Jack Pool (Diane); and his grandchildren, Devon Zimnox (Sara), Nikki Petrella, Alyssa Abraham (Ryan), Alexa Martinek (Nick) and Alec Pool. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
