He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Clinton, Veronica Gilkey, James and Margaret Clarke; and his aunt Joyce Clarke-Priscilla.

He is survived by: his parents, Michael Gilkey and Kathy Clarke Gilkey; his brother Jeff Gilkey (Tracy) of Pickerington, OH; and his niece Becca Gilkey. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
