We announce the death of Suzanne Porter of Wintersville, Ohio, who passed away on September 9, 2026, at the age of 82. Suzanne will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph A. Ighnat and Helen Yarosz Ighnat; her husband Robert "Bob" Porter; her brother Joseph Ighnat; and her siblings-in-law, John Gugliemo, Judy Hetherington and William Hetherington.
She is survived by: her children, Patty Teramana (Robert) of Steubenville, Robert I. Porter Jr. of Wintersville and Margaret Porter of Steubenville; and her siblings, Barbara Gugliemo of Weirton, Becky Sweda (David) of Virginia, Nancy Ighnat Nicosia of Virginia, Pamela LaRue (David) of Steubenville and David Ighnat of Hopedale.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel (4435 Sunset Blvd, Steubenville, OH 43952). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (852 Main St, Wintersville, OH 43953).
