He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Mahoney and Betty Jean Stimpert Mahoney; and his brother John Mahoney. He is survived by: his siblings, Peggy Pierce of Salesville, Ohio, Deb Scott of Woodsfield, Ohio, Brenda Patterson of Barnesville, Ohio, Evone DeLong (Charles) of Woodsfield, Ohio and Neal Mahoney (Lori) of Woodsfield, Ohio; and his close friend Mike Jones of Marietta, Ohio.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Watters Funeral Home (37501 OH-78, Woodsfield, OH 43793). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
