He is survived by: his wife Mary Carolyn Stanley; and his siblings, Wayne Stanley (Kay) of Jonesboro, David Stanley (Sue) of Beckley, Allen Stanley (Jo) of Live Oak, Florida and Betty Flowers (John) of Shady Spring. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
