She was predeceased by: her parents, George VanMeter and Anna Cleveland VanMeter; her husband George L. Stephen; and her siblings, Mary Anderson and William VanMeter.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra McCormick (David) of Salesville, Ohio, Terry Stephen (Caryla) of Woodsfield and Todd Stephen (Candace Clemons) of Fairfield, Ohio. She is also survived by four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Watters Funeral Home (37501 OH-78, Woodsfield, OH 43793). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
