It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Benjamin E. Charles of Woodstock, Ohio, who passed away on June 4, 2025, at the age of 41, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Ronnie McConnell, Frank and Vonna Charles; his aunts, Kay and Jane Callicoat; his uncle Jerry Charles; and his great-uncle Max Journell.
He is survived by: his parents, Carl Charles and Melissa Charles (McConnell); his grandmother Shirley McConnell; his sister Heidi Taylor (Shawn Massie); and his sibling's children, Cody, Wyatt and Ella. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins and many special friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home in care his nephews, Cody and Wyatt, and niece, Ella, to be used for a college fund - which Ben would have wanted - Vernon Funeral Home, 235 Miami St. Urbana, OH 43078.
