He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Sandwisch of Woodville and Cindy Breeze (Logsdon) of Holland; his daughter Makayla Sandwisch of Woodville; his brother Greg Sandwisch; his nephew Obadiah of Gibsonburg; his sister Julianna Assenmacher (Craig) of Sylvania; his nephews, Broderick and Theodore; and his grandparents, Willis, Ruth Sandwisch, Ward and Evelyn Logsdon.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family (c/o Cindy Breeze) to benefit an educational fund for Dan's daughter, Makayla.
