He was predeceased by : his parents, Harman F. Busdeker and Minnie R. Busdeker (Layman); his wife Audrey Myers; and his siblings, Lillian Dusing, Raymond Busdeker, Willard Busdeker, Dorothy Black, Virgil Busdeker, Donald Busdeker and Richard Busdeker.

He is survived by : his sons, Ron Busdeker (Becky) of Elmore, Daniel Busdeker (Cheryl) of Bradner, Allan Busdeker (Lori), Robert Busdeker (Maria) and Dana Busdeker (Sue) of Woodville; and his stepdaughter Kathleen McClain (Joan McCoy) of Fremont. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to: Solomon Lutheran Church, Woodville Fire and EMS or the American Diabetes Association.
