With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alton Leo Burkhart (Wooster, Ohio), who passed away on October 2, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Burkhart and Virginia Burkhart. He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Prewitt (Bobby); his granddaughter Bailey Zaluski (Andrew); his great grandchildren, Cora and Camryn; his daughter Michelle Beckler (Chuck); his grandson Brock; his daughter Melissa McKnight; his grandchildren, Gabe, Avery, Morgan and Elizabeth; his daughter Jackie Hamilton (Rob); his granddaughters, Presley and Pyper; his daughter Alison Wilson (Mark); his grandchildren, Ruger and Benelli; his siblings, Jackie Woodruff (Keith) of Dalton and Dan Burkhart (Nancy) of Moreland; his pet Lucy; Tammy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home (216 E Larwill St, Wooster, OH 44691). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
