He is survived by: his wife Laberta Douglas; his children, Christopher Books, Ryan Books, Nathan Rodgers and Jeanne Hillyer; his grandchildren, Braylon, Bryce, Sophia Books, Dakota Madrill, Tiffany Ziegler and RJ Rodgers; his great grandchildren, Kolton, Kowen Hillyer, Carter, Harper Madrill and Destiny Ziegler; his siblings, Loren Books (Linda) and Lisa Crawford; his sisters-in-law, Etta Trimpi and Tina Simon (Tom); and his pets, Gideon, Koda, Sasha, Sassy and Millie.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at 2102 Robinhood Dr, Wooster, OH 44691.
